Description

A set of 5 ponds where you can see an average of 30 bird species over 4.5 km in two hours. 151 species have been observed there in the last 10 years. Aquatic birds are very present there including 3 species of nesting ducks kačica divá, chochlačka sivá, chochlačka vrkočatá as well as other nesting species potápka chochlatá, lyska čierna, sliepočka vodná, rybárik riečny.

The herons are very present with volavka popolavá, hltavka chochlatá, in winter beluša veľká and all year round beluša malá. The rybár riečny is a breeder in some years and in summer there are many kalužiačik malý passing by. In winter kalužiak perlavý as well as močiarnica mekotavá are often present.

The ponds are located in the middle of the hedged countryside, which explains the presence of bird species from this environment rich in trees and hedges like hrdlička poľná, slávik obyčajný, holub hrivnák, sokol myšiar (pustovka), myšiak hôrny, chochlačka sivá, lyska čierna, sliepočka vodná. There is no shortage of passerines in winter like ľabtuška lúčna, ľabtuška vrchovská.

Français: Un ensemble de 5 étangs en région de bocage. Promenade bien aménagée autour des étangs permettant de voir sur 4,5 km en deux heures de temps une trentaine d'espèces d'oiseaux en moyenne . 151 espèces y ont été observées ces 10 dernières années.

Les oiseaux aquatiques y sont bien présents dont 3 espèces de canards nicheurskačica divá, chochlačka sivá, chochlačka vrkočatá ainsi que d'autres espèces nicheuses potápka chochlatá, lyska čierna, sliepočka vodná, rybárik riečny.

La rybár riečny est nicheuse certaines années et l'été il y a de nombreux kalužiačik malý de passage. L'hiver le kalužiak perlavý ainsi que la močiarnica mekotavá sont souvent présents

Access

Near MONCOUTANT on the road to Niort go towards the indication PESCALIS which is a fishing site open free to walkers and favorable to the presence of birds. There are several parking spaces. It is possible to tour the ponds on foot or by bicycle, depending on the season you will see different species of birds. Français: Près de MONCOUTANT sur la route de Niort se diriger vers l'indication PESCALIS qui est un site de pêche ouvert gratuitement aux promeneurs et favorable à la présence des oiseaux. Plusieurs parking pour autos sont possibles sur le site. Il est possible de faire le tour des étangs à pied ou en bicyclette.Selon les saisons vous y verrez différentes espèces d'oiseaux. Certaines sont en grand nombre l'hiver lors de la vidange des étangs čajka smejivá, beluša veľká, kormorán veľký, kalužiak perlavý, ľabtuška vrchovská.

Au printemps certaines espèces sont facilement repérable par leur chant slávik obyčajný, hrdlička poľná, cetia západná, penica čiernohlavá.
