Description
La Grande Bosse is part of a complex of many lakes along the river Seine. It holds the biggest čajka čiernohlavá colony in the Paris area. Very impressive with several hundreds of pairs, also with čajka smejivá. The area is also a nesting place of hrdzavka potápavá. And you can expect different species of waders, ducks, herons and raptors in migratory stopover or in winter.

Best visited by car (no train station close-by). You can park at several places along the lake, the small road is not busy at all.
