Large Brenne lake with a view point from a rural path.
Etang de Piegu has no observatory but is a very beautiful lake and a wintering site for waterbirds (ducks, grebes, herons, etc.). The lake has large reed beds and is also a major breeding site in spring (chochlačka sivá, chochlačka vrkočatá). Presence of numerous šišila bocianovítá in spring.

Français: Grand étang de Brenne, point de vue depuis la bonde via un sentier rural. Très bel étang constituant un site régulier d'hivernage d'oiseaux d'eau (canards, grèbes, hérons…). Présence de grandes roselières. Egalement site de reproduction majeur au pritemps (Milouins, Morillons). Présence de nombreuses échasses blanche, de fuligules Milouin et Morillon au printemps.
On D148, from Subtray, take the first left towards Loge des Cousins, then 250 meters away, take the dirt road on the right, up to the Piegu pond. Click on the P in the map for directions.
