Description

The Etangs de la Padoue are located along the river Meuse. The ponds are home to a nesting population of cetia západná and drozd čvíkota. The ponds are a stopover for migrants and also attract wintering birds.

Access

The Etangs de la Padoue are located east of the village of Ayvelles. The lakes can be accessed by car via a bumpy stone path or on foot from the road in front of the adjacent old gravel pit Ballastières des Ayvelles (Also described on Birdingplaces).
