Description
Base de Loisir de Jablines-Annet is part of a wide meander of the river Marne and was created on old sand pits. The area has numerous ponds, lakes and wetlands that are rich in biodiversity. The site is most interesting in winter and during migration. In winter, the few dozen hectares of open water are home to a large number of ducks and grebes and the site also contains a large dormitory of gulls, numbering several thousand individuals.

Access
Base de Loisir de Jablines-Annet is located 40 km east of Paris. Access via the entrance gate of the leisure center, numerous parking lots near each pond. Press a P on the map for directions to a parking. The walking routes indicated on the map are about 12 km in total, but it is easy to make shorter walks. Admission is free in autumn and winter and paid in summer.
