Description
Ilveskorvenpuisto is a nice and accessible place for casual urban birding. The pond attracts a variety of duck species in summer and it's possible to see their young there too. You can see kačica divá, kačica chrapka and potápač veľký. As the summer progresses, some birds make nests on the small island in the middle of the pond. čajka sivá and čajka smejivá are common but sometimes it's possible to see čajka morská too. sliepočka vodná has been seen at the pond in spring time too and the surrounding bushes provide hiding places for červienka obyčajná.
