Description
Nyord is a small island and besides the farmland, the island consists of 400 hectares of beach meadows. In winter these are flooded with seawater. There is also a chance of seeing orliak morský, kršiak rybár, sokol sťahovavý or kaňa popolavá. You can take a walk to the village past the Hyldevang Nature Center and see birds along the way such as vrabec poľný, stehlík konôpka, trasochvost žltý en pŕhľaviar čiernohlavý. In the small harbour you can see rybár riečny hunting for fish and maybe find a kormorán chochlatý.
