Decent spot for autumn migration. There is a good view of the fjord and you can observe common seabirds as well as the more rare Loons and Auks.
Kragesand is a good place to observe bird migration in late summer and autumn, when Scandinavian birds migrate south. Waders can migrate in August, while in the autumn eider ducks, geese, and terns are seen. Kragesand is, apart from Lakolk on Rømø, the best place in Southern Jutland to find potáplica malá and potáplica stredná. pomorník príživný and alka vrúbkozobá are often seen. In the winter, thousands of kajka morská rest in the sea off Kragesand along with hlaholka severská, ľadovka dĺhochvostá and turpan čierny.
Parking lot at the end of Kragesand. Click on the P in the map to get directions.
