Description
Dubový Rybník is a shallow pond where rare birds like orliak morský or kršiak rybár sometimes show up. Among the breeding birds are kaňa močiarna, močiarnica mekotavá, trsteniarik veľký and volavka popolavá. In February and March, when they arrive from wintering grounds there is a chance to see žeriav popolavý. Focus your binoculars on the reed beds and surrounding meadows to find them. All year round you can watch the hunting efforts of the rybárik riečny or volavka popolavá on the pond.
