This small lake has lots of surface vegetation and is just on the way to Laguna de Guanaroca.
Although you have to stand on the bridge or next to the road, still it is worth a look and even a closer look. Especially in the morning hours, you can find Northern Jacana, Fulvous Whistling Duck, Osprey, terns, ducks, whistling-ducks, etc.
Just stop on the road from Cienfuegos to Playa Rancho Luna. After the bridge over the river you have a good view on most parts of the lake.
The handrail on the bridge is in very bad condition so be careful when you walk on it. Also cars and trucks tend to honk when you are standing next to the road, so dont get jump-scared and fall off the bridge.
