Gradski Park Bihać is located along the fast flowing mountain river Una. In the winter there are hundreds of ducks, mainly kačica divá. Some other duck species can be seen like kačica chripľavka, kačica ostrochvostá and kačica chrapka. In the trees there are common birds like sýkorka veľká, sýkorka belasá and ďateľ veľký. In spring other birds can be seen in nearby trees at the park migrating back to the mountains above. Also at the park in spring you can see penica čiernohlavá, pinka obyčajná and some other species. During the breeding season, outside the city you can see vodnár potočný and potápač veľký who nest nearby. Also other species like bocian biely, volavka popolavá and myšiak hôrny.
