Mixed forest with some old beech lanes. Woodpeckers like tesár čierny and ďateľ malý breed here as well as jastrab veľký and other birds of prey. In spring you may experience a real concert of song birds: warblers, thrushes, tits, muchárik čiernohlavý and králik zlatohlavý, while in winter, there's different species of finches and if you're lucky you may see an sluka hôrna hiding beneath the bushes or gulls, škovránik stromový and pŕhľaviar čiernohlavý on the surrounding fields.
