Most of the time people visit this nature reserve during the summer. But also during the winter and migration period you can see intersting bird species. The area is famous for the lelek lesný which you can see during the summer but in the winter you can see the strakoš veľký. Other birds you can encounter in the area are hlaholka severská, kršiak rybár, sokol lastovičiar, sokol kobec, bocian čierny, brhlík obyčajný, krkavec čierny, žeriav popolavý, tesár čierny and sova lesná. Rare visitors are orliak morský, ľabtuška poľná, volavka purpurová and šišila bocianovítá.
