Description
The 12 hectares of the area consist of four former fish ponds in the Molenbeek valley. The ponds have been managed in a nature-friendly way for ten years. They are a good place to make the first spring observations of potápka malá , potápka chochlatá , rybárik riečny , trsteniarik bahenný , kormorán veľký . During the winter half-year, in addition to modest numbers of chochlačka vrkočatá, chochlačka sivá, kačica chrapka are present. Other species are seen to a lesser extent kačica chripľavka, kačica lyžičiarka, kačica chrapačka , bučiačik močiarny.
In recent years many rareties were seen during migration, like potápka čiernokrká, bučiak veľký, kúdeľníčka lužná ,čaplička vlasatá.
