Description

Scott Conservation Park is a small wooded park near Currency Creek. The area has different heights and lows. The 7 km 'Orchid Hike' is a fun adventurous route. It explores some of the deep gorged creek and forest before skirting the forest and following the park boundary in a loop. You will also find several pools with water. You will find many types of eucalyptus trees, very high kangaroo tails (Xanthorrhoea australis) and many different species of parrots, lorikeets and cockatoos.

Access

Scott Conservation Park is located in Currency Creek, South Australia. It's about 55 kilometers south of Adelaide and approximately 4.7 kilometers northwest of the town center of Currency Creek. There is a small parking lot on Gould Road: Gould Rd, Currency Creek SA 5214, Australia. Press P on the map for directions to the parking

At the entrance to the park you will find a route description. There are no toilets. You can definitely spend 2 to 3 hours here for your visit.
