Description
The Lezhë Lagoon is located within the Drin river delta and facing the Adriatic Sea in northern Albania. South of the lagoon is the Kune Vain Tale nature reserve (also described on Birdingplaces, see separate entry). The Lezhë Lagoon is just outside the city and you can reach it easily on foot. The lagoon is accessible at several places. Among the birds you can encounter are pelikán kučeravý, čaplička vlasatá, chochlačka bielooká, kačica chrapačka, plameniak ružový, šišila bocianovítá, kormorán malý, kalužiak sivý, včelárik zlatý, pipíška chochlatá, rybárik riečny and kaňa močiarna.
