Description

At Traeth Lafan during winter one can see Кулик-сорока, Большой кроншнеп, Травник, Чернозобик and Тулес in large numbers. Also Малая чайка, Длинноносый крохаль, Малая белая цапля, Болотная сова, Дербник and Сапсан, Луговой конёк and Скальный конёк. Visit either side of high tide for best results (see link to the Tides table below).

By road, 2 miles east of Bangor. Head north of A55 on minor road. Click on the P in the map for directions. The route indicated on the map is about 4 km.
