Description

The main attraction of Stack Rocks is the sea bird colony best viewed from May to early July when thousands of Тонкоклювая кайра crowd on to the Stacks to breed together with smaller numbers of Гагарка, Хохлатый баклан and Моевка. Клушица are regular here as are Сапсан. In the spring and summer Каменка are common on the rocky grassland of the clifftops. In the winter a walk eastwards towards St Govans may produce Дербник, possibly Полевой лунь and good flocks of Золотистая ржанка. Offshore the occasional Diver is possible.
