Great cliff scenery. St Govan's Head is an area of cliffs, grassland and coastal scrub.
St Govan's has great cliff scenery with nesting Серебристая чайка and Клуша. A walk west towards Stack Rocks will produce good views of Каменка and Черноголовый чекан. Sea watching can be productive with huge numbers of Обыкновенный буревестник returning to their nesting islands in the summer evenings although a lack of good cover makes sea watching difficult in rough weather.
A small valley runs down to a beach from near the car park and this area, together with thick cover on the walk to Broadhaven 2 miles to the east, can be good for migrants. Клушица are common on the cliff tops.
Lying c.3 miles south of Bosherston, St Govan's Head is on the eastern edge of the Castlemartin Range. Access to the car park at SM968931 may be restricted due to M.O.D. (Ministry of Defence) activity - ring 01646 662367 to check access.
