Sharkham Point Nature Reserve is in South Devon.
Sharkham Point is South of Berry Head (close walking distance). It was once an iron mine (disused 1915) and then a municipal tip. It is now a seawatching site and is a good place for migrant passerines, though a lot smaller than it's Berry Head cousin and consequently less watched. It is worth visiting if you are in the general area.
From Paignton on the A3022 head towards Brixham, when nearing Brixham Look for signs to St Mary's Bay, roads eventually become VERY narrow near the point with few passing places.
BE WARNED as of July 1st 2023 the car park is FEE PAYABLE, the entrance is camera controlled by automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) and fines can be expected and is open 24 hours.
