Description

Roundhay Park has 700 acres of parkland, lakes, woodland, gardens and a mansion house. There is 1 small lake which many birds breed on and 1 large lake. A dense woodland with almost all woodland birds present. Plenty of trails. Its a nice place to bird as you can get around 40-50 species on a visit if you are lucky. During the winter months expect larger number of ducks and thrushes and during summer warblers such as Теньковка and Славка-черноголовка turn up. Other birds you can see are Индийский кольчатый попугай, Обыкновенный зимородок, Желтоголовый королёк, Московка and Большой пёстрый дятел.
