Description

Marshside is a wetland site located north of Southport town centre. In the summer, you can spot nesting birds like Шилоклювка and Чибис, while in winter you can see groups of Свиязь, Чирок-свистунок, and Короткоклювый гуменник. Too many bird varieties to name here (see the birdlist below) but Marshside offers the chance to see local and migratory birds and offers them a chance for feeding and nesting. The reserve is right next to the beach so there a two main areas to watch birds. It's also five minutes drive from the town for either sit in or picinic style, food and drink.
