Description

Llandegla Forest is one of the few places in Wales to see Тетерев lekking. The RSPB have a hide and as of 2022, guided walks, see their website. Among the other birds you can observe in the area are Обыкновенный козодой, Белая куропатка, Луговой конёк, Болотная сова, Дербник, Черноголовый чекан, Луговой чекан, Обыкновенная кукушка, Певчий дрозд, Зелёный дятел, Канюк, Красный коршун, Полевой лунь and Каменка.

Access

8 miles west of Wrexham on the Ruthin road. Click on the P in the map for directions. Bus X51 runs hourly, Mon to Sat and 2-hourly Sundays from either town. Nearest train station, Wrexham.
