Description

The city high flyers you’ll spot here are Обыкновенный зимородок, Речная крачка and the occasional Горихвостка-чернушка. Because where once 19th century ships delivered their cargoes, there’s now tranquil open water, wildflower meadows and salt marsh. East India Dock Basin is a real gem. A perfect escape from the city for the family and a nature lover’s delight.

East India Dock Basin opening times: July - August: 08:00 - 21:00. September - October: 08:00 - 19:30. November - March: 08:00 -17:00. April - June: 08:00 - 19:30. You can access through walking, cycling, train and buses.
