Acherbiela is a small nature reserve. The Удод is being reintroduced in the area. Spring migration often offers surprises ( Полевой конёк, Кобчик, Полевой жаворонок and Лесной жаворонок). In winter sometimes Клушица and Белозобый дрозд. Беркут and Бородач are also possible when the weather is bad. Beautiful circular route over dry steppe with nature-friendly agriculture. Among the birds you can see in the area are Удод, Обыкновенная горихвостка, Сплюшка, Альпийская галка, Клушица, Беркут, Зелёный дятел, Светлобрюхая пеночка, Деряба and Ополовник.

Public transport: Bus from Brig train station to Brig Biela. Then walk about 30 minutes in the direction of Termen. Circular walking route from the bus between 1.5 and 2.5 hours, depending on the route.
