A nice and quiet area. It is mainly open vegetation and rocks. Freshwater lakes on the coast ensure the attraction of waders.
Tjurpannans Naturreservat has also forests on the rocks, but it is mainly an open and natural grazed area and you have many hiking trails, also along the coast. There are several coves of the sea where birds can be spotted. Besides the fact that it is a beautiful area, with beautiful bird species, there are also many vipers. Alternating, there are also heath and marsh areas.
Tjurpannans Naturreservat is located north of Grebbestad. The best way to explore the area is on foot. There are some parking lots where you can walk directly into the area. Click on a P in the map for directions. There is a bus stop that stops right next to the nature reserve (Bus stop Saltviks Camping), but the bus doesn't go very often. It's easier to get to Grebbestad by bus and from there you can also walk a beautiful route towards the nature reserve.
In addition to Tjurpannan, the entire peninsula is beautiful and you can walk everywhere. There are easy and difficult trails to walk. To the northeast of the nature reserve you have meadows where you can see Серый журавль very well. There are many narrow hiking trails that you can see on the map!
