Description
Normally Söne Mad is one large and clear water area, suitable for resting ducks, geese and other wetland birds. A good place to see Орлан-белохвост, Сапсан and Болотный лунь. Nesting birds are Бекас, Водяной пастушок, Большая выпь and Вертишейка in the summertime. Often you can also encounter Малый пёстрый дятел and Усатая синица.

By car or bike to either the bird tower at Nyckelbergstornet (Park on the left in the field before the forest slope before the harbor. It is then approx. 300 m left to walk on the forest road. Do not park in the harbor), or Söne idrottsplats (football fields). Suitable for hiking, not biking. Click on the P in the map to get directions.
