Lillängsgölen is easily accessible by a bird observation tower. The lake is best from May to June when the breeding birds arrive. In the reed Камышевка-барсучок, Водяной пастушок and Тростниковая овсянка breed. On the coastal wetlands Серый журавль, Вальдшнеп Бекас and Чибис breed. Краснозобая гагара, Красношейная поганка, Кряква, Чирок-свистунок, Лебедь-кликун and Гоголь breed on the lake. Some years Черныш, Красноголовый нырок, Канадская казарка, Болотный лунь, andЧеглок breed.
In the forest around many pine favouring birds breed, some more common are Тетерев, Хохлатая синица, Обыкновенный жулан, Глухарь, Лесная завирушка, Вертишейка, Малый пёстрый дятел, Большой пёстрый дятел, Желна, Теньковка, Скопа, Перепелятник, and Канюк.

Lillängsgölen is located 18 km northeast of Eksjö. There is a small parking lot next to the road. Press P on the map for directions to the parking lot. The trail to the birding tower (500 m) is not clearly marked.
