The entire Tràs-os-Montes region is a beautiful, undiscovered area teeming with birds. For example around the village of Loivos where you can find birds such as Удод, Красный коршун, Чёрный коршун, Испанский могильник, Белоголовый сип, Красная куропатка, Рыжепоясничная ласточка, Обыкновенная горлица, Иволга and a large colony of Золотистая щурка.
