Bugaj Reservoir is a great place during spring and summer time. There is a breeding colony of Речная крачка, Чёрная крачка and Озерная чайка. Two or three pairs of Болотный лунь also breed there. It is also a breeding place for Лебедь-шипун, Малая поганка, Большая выпь, Усатая синица, Камышница and Чомга.
