The Yperenplas (also called Wilpse Plas) is an easy accessible birding place near the city of Deventer. It offers a wide view on the typical IJssel valley, with a good chance of special species on the lake and in the surroundings. Among the birds you can see here are Серый гусь, Скопа, Каменка, Сизая чайка, Широконоска, Серая утка, Свиязь, Колпица, Озерная чайка, Белощекая казарка and Пустельга обыкновенная. Rarities that have been seen here are Белоглазый нырок, Краснозобая гагара and Ходулочник.
