Description
The meadows have good numbers of Большой веретенник and Травник, while the little forest can be good for breeding Зелёная пересмешка. In winter, there is often a Обыкновенный зимородок and sometimes you can find Зарничка there.

Access
On the northeast side, there is a wooden bridge, right at the little forest. The trees and branches hanging over the channel are ideal for Обыкновенный зимородок. There is room for parking at the bridge and this is also where the walk starts. Around the area there are several places to park and you can make shorter or longer walks. The route that is suggested on the map is 4,4 km.

The walk is passing the famous 'IJsboerderij', a farm where they make ice cream from cow's milk. There is also a playground for children and a nice terrace.
