Boswachterij Ruurlo is a nature reserve of approximately 500 hectares southwest of the village of Ruurlo. The nature reserve consists of old and varied forests interspersed with meadows. A typical bocage landscape. The forestry used to belong to Ruurlo Castle. The Lievestro walk is a signposted route of 5 kilometers long through forestry. The walk is good for forest birds like Желтоголовый королёк, Средний пёстрый дятел, Зелёный дятел, Желна, Обыкновенная горихвостка, Мухоловка-пеструшка, Снегирь, Обыкновенный дубонос, Клёст-еловик, Хохлатая синица, Обыкновенная овсянка, Лесной конёк and Серая неясыть.
