Description

Low sandy pine-forested area with picnic site and cafe. 214 species have been seen including 4 woodpecker species, Вертишейка, Кедровка, Глухарь, Американский лебедь, Морянка, Орлан-белохвост, Кобчик, Красноголовый королёк, Обыкновенный осоед, Зимняк, Обыкновенный соловей, Удод, Желтоголовая трясогузка, Соловьиный сверчок, Ястребиная славка and Речной сверчок.

Access

By road from Riga take A10 west then P120 north through Talsi. Nearest train station at Ventspils. The Cape can also be viewed from the Riga-Stockholm and Riga-Gdansk ferries.
