Description

The Stagni di Marceddì and Corru S'Ittiri form part of a Natura 2000 protected area. These lagoons are a mosaic of brackish and freshwater habitats, shaped by natural inlets, sandbars, and artificial dikes. The shallow lagoons attract waders, gulls, and ducks. Birds you can observe include Ходулочник, Чирок-свистунок, Пеганка, Тулес, Галстучник, Большой кроншнеп, Перевозчик, Травник, Фифи, Большой улит, Камнешарка, Турухтан, Кулик-воробей, Полевой конёк, Черноголовый чекан, Малая белая цапля, and Морской голубок.
