Alpine lake not far from Lake Garda. The lake is surrounded by mountains and forest.
Lago di Tenno is beautifully situated in the mountains north of Lake Garda, surrounded by the foothills of the Alps and Monte Misone. The lake is known for its azure blue water and is located at an elevation of 550 m. You can walk around the lake, through the woods or explore the open areas south of the lake.

The route from Lake Garda to Lago di Tenno is beautiful. North of Riva del Garda you can drive up to the lake via two routes, on the SP37 or the SS421, via winding roads and hairpin bends. On the route via the SS421, you pass through the village of Tenno and pass another attraction, the Cascate del Varone, a spectacular waterfall in a cave. From Arco di Trento continue following the signs. Once you arrive at the parking lot, you can reach the lake in 5 minutes on foot. Click on the P in the map for directions. A walk around the lake is about 3 km.
