Center for reintroduction of Белый аист. A bird extinct from Italy as a nesting species since the eighteenth century.
Centro Cicogne Racconigi was founded in December 1985 for the reintroduction of the Белый аист. The area has a marsh that is attractive for numerous other species of birds. In the middle of the marsh there is a bird hide. Among the other birds you can see are Лысуха, Водяной пастушок, Малая поганка, Чомга, Малая белая цапля, Большая белая цапля, Ходулочник, Турухтан, Чибис, Бекас, Чирок-свистунок, Шилохвость, Пеганка, Черноголовый щегол and Обыкновенная зеленушка.
