Description
Biotopo del Taio is a marshy area of 4.5 hectares surrounded by green vineyards. Among the birds that have been observed over the years are Волчок, Большая выпь, Обыкновенный зимородок, Дроздовидная камышевка, Лысуха, Камышница, Кряква, Серая цапля, Рыжая цапля, Большая белая цапля, Малая поганка, Чомга and Зелёный дятел. The place always delivers interesting observations both of the species that nest and of those passing through. Not rare are the encounters with birds of prey such as Чёрный коршун, Канюк and Пустельга обыкновенная which are concentrated more in the surrounding countryside.
