Description
Kilberry Bog is a fantastic winter birding area as it has Ушастая сова, Сипуха and sometimes Болотная сова. It has Канюк, Дербник, Перепелятник, Пустельга обыкновенная, Сапсан and Полевой лунь. There are Кряква, Чирок-свистунок, Бекас, Гаршнеп, Золотистая ржанка, Чибис, Галстучник and occasionally Черныш. It also has Лебедь-шипун and Лебедь-кликун.

You can access Kilberry Bog by car as far as the edge then walk around. There are several laneways which lead to it and cars can be parked at the roadside so long as you don't block access or gateways. Click on the P in the map for directions.
