Nagy-tó means Big Lake. In this large wetland next to the village of Tiszaalpár there is a big heron nesting colony in the willows-jungle around the Big Lake. Plenty of Кваква, Египетская цапля, Малая белая цапля, Большая белая цапля, Серая цапля, Рыжая цапля, Колпица and Жёлтая цапля nest in the area. But there are many other interesting birds to see like Черноголовая чайка, Серощекая поганка, Луток, Орлан-белохвост and Краснозобый конёк.
