Description
Le Grand Pré is a wetland with a pleasant walk and a small hide overlooking a body of water during autumn / winter and spring. Can dry out during high summer months. During spring and autumn the reedbed supports large numbers of migrating Тростниковая камышевка and Камышевка-барсучок, and Деревенская ласточка and Береговушка use the area as a roost. A morning visit shows it to its best advantage with sunshine lighting up the reeds. Among the other birds you can spot in the area are Горная трясогузка, Белая трясогузка, Перепелятник, Водяной пастушок, Большая синица, Лазоревка, Бекас and Большой пёстрый дятел.

Small car park at entrance and a 5 minute walk to hide along grassy path. Can be slippy but on the flat. Part of the path may be waterlogged in winter.
