Description
Most birders drive along this road towards great birdingplaces in the west, like the Ipsilou monastery and Sigri, but the slopes of Vigla provide some great habitat for typical inland breeding species. Next to the road, several lay-overs are present, which can be used to scan the slopes on both sides of the road. The mostly barren landscape is great for species, like Кеклик, Красноклювая овсянка, Синий каменный дрозд and Каменный воробей. Often, Каменка-плясунья can be seen on rocky outcrops too. The scattered trees are also good for Пепельная овсянка.
