The road towards Makara is a great route to search for many typical inland breeding species that inhabit the drier parts of the island, like Кеклик, Испанская каменка and Малый скальный поползень. The rocky outcrops are a great spot for Синий каменный дрозд and Красноклювая овсянка. The small scattered bushes are good for migrating Луговой чекан, Каменка and Черноголовый чекан.
Further down the road, the road lies adjacent to a shallow valley with scattered trees, and several small groves. These areas are great for migrants, like Золотистая щурка, Удод, shrikes, warblers, swallows, swifts and flycatchers.
