Description
More than 100 bird species have been seen in Levadi marsh . On one side this semi-flooded marsh area is bordered by the sea. A road to a quarry runs on one side along from the sea and on the other side the marsh is overlooked by a hillside. The small wetland attracts wading birds such as Малая белая цапля, Большая белая цапля, Жёлтая цапля and Чирок-свистунок. Also Обыкновенный зимородок can be seen. The surrounding reeded pools, scrubland and fir trees also attract tits, finches, Болотный лунь and Средиземноморская славка. It’s also common to see Золотистая щурка and buzzards and eagles in this area.
