Description
Rhodes is a very dry island, smaller birds breed early before vegetation dies back. At Lindos you can find the usual mediterranean versions of swifts, swallows, warblers and Испанская каменка. Birds of prey include Пустельга обыкновенная, Степная пустельга (especially at the acropolis), Сплюшка and Курганник. Other birds you can encounter are Жёлтая цапля, Авдотка, Красноголовый сорокопут, Рыжепоясничная ласточка and Кулик-воробей.

Lindos is located on the south-east coast on Rhodes, 40 km south of Rhodes town. You can take a bus or coach from Rhodes town to Lindos.
