Description

Gadoura Reservoir is a large reservoir in the middle of the island of Rhodes. The Gadoura Dam was constructed in 2002 to supply the island with drinking water. The reservoir is surrounded by green hills. A nice road leads down to the car parking areas, through hilly areas of scattered trees and bushes. Keep the car windows down to hear for bird calls and song. Birds you can encounter include Чомга, Малая поганка, Малая белая цапля, Золотистая щурка, Восточноорфейская славка, Средиземноморская славка, Красноголовый сорокопут, Обыкновенная горлица, Просянка and Хохлатый жаворонок.
