Description
Part of the IBA GR077 Acheron delta and gorge (39o 15' N 20o 30' E). The coastal delta includes low, scrub-dominated hills and brackish marshes, the remainig one fourth of it still surviving the decades of draining and turning marshes into arable land. Human activities include arable agriculture, livestock-farming, recreation and hunting.
Birds you can see in the area include Полевой конёк, Каменка, Серая мухоловка, Средиземноморская славка, Соловьиная широкохвостка, Пеночка-весничка, Рыжепоясничная ласточка, Бледная пересмешка, Зелёная пересмешка, Дроздовидная камышевка, Тростниковая камышевка, Золотистая цистикола, Хохлатый жаворонок, Усатая синица, Обыкновенный ремез, Обыкновенный жулан, Красноголовый сорокопут, Европейский тювик, Жёлтая цапля, Волчок, Малая крачка, Чайконосая крачка, Травник, Белобрюхий стриж, Белопоясничный стриж, Белоглазый нырок, etc.

Access
The Acheron Delta lies some 30 minutes to the south of the Parga tourist resort, its entrance being the small resort of Ammoudia. Zoom in on the map and click on the "P" (parking) sign for driving directions.
