Nature reserve Letter Bruch is of great importance as a breeding and foraging habitat for many meadow birds. About 3-5 pairs of Большой кроншнеп breed here. Also a breeding ground for Чибис and Черноголовый чекан. Among the other birds you can observe in the area are Перепел, Серая куропатка, Белый аист, Болотный лунь, Домовый сыч, Обыкновенный жулан, Южный соловей, Луговой чекан and Жёлтая трясогузка.
