Description
Moosschwaige has surprisingly varied habitats. There are reedbeds (Тростниковая камышевка, Дроздовидная камышевка), ponds and streams (Водяной пастушок, Обыкновенный зимородок) with attached wetland being actively maintained by beavers. There are also woods and grassland.
Star species are Зелёная пересмешка, Обыкновенный жулан and Обыкновенная кукушка in the summer, Серый сорокопут in the winter, and woodpeckers all year round, including Малый пёстрый дятел , Седой дятел and Желна.

Moosschwaige is located in the west of Munich, reachable from Aubing or Freiham S-Bahn (30 minute walk). Allow at least two hours to explore. Press P on the map for directions to a parking spot. The circular walking route indicated on the map is about 4 km.
