Description
The Leipheimer Moos is a beautiful moorland with wide areas for Болотный лунь as well as the rare Коростель, Жёлтая трясогузка, Обыкновенный сверчок and migratory Луговой конёк. In the reed areas north of the border ditch Варакушка likes to sing, in the cattle pastures Черноголовый чекан and along the boardwalk circuit (the boardwalk itself is unfortunately closed) Вертишейка, Южный соловей, Бекас, Чибис, Серая славка, Обыкновенная кукушка, Обыкновенный фазан and Желна can be heard or seen.
Also worth a visit in autumn/winter when there are Полевой лунь, Серый сорокопут, Болотная сова, Белолобый гусь and Серый журавль.
